Uh, weird fact about me: I may or may not moonlight as a civil rights activist. And by may or may not, I mean may.

Don't get me wrong, it's not a career, and I'm not claiming to be MLK or anything. What I'm getting at is that there's nothing I feel better about doing than spreading awareness and attempting to stop ignorance.

The point of all of this is that I read this awesome article a little a while ago that really hit home with me, 25 Things You Don't Have to Justify to Anyone. Too often, I think, we feel obligated to explain ourselves for things that, as the article says, we really don't have to justify to anyone. If someone's questioning your taste in music, your relationship status, your sexuality, who you voted for--remember: it's really none of their stinking business.
